Lambert (p. 23) states, "when we truly listen and build on each others ideas, we construct meaning and knowledge together".


Real World Situation: There is a group of teachers who would like to implement more of an inqury-based learning environment. The teachers get together and discuss what this type of learning environment might look like. They are all listening to ideas and asking questions about those ideas that they need more information on. Together, the teachers use their ideas to create a main goal for how they will set up and implement this new learning environment.
